We become worried after not hearing anything from dealership or Griffin for about 2.5ish weeks. I had to contact dealership for them to tell me that they told Griffin that the car needed a major fuse panel that could be $1200+. I called Griffin to tell him I approved the install because we really needed the car. It's month 3 folks!

They will rip you off but are nice about it

I brought my car and truck to them when they first opened. They fixed both and stuck to fair estimate.

Month 1 & 2

Griffin is a lifesaver! My truck blew a spark plug and I had two kids with me along with my husband. We were about 300 miles from home! I thought we were stranded and repair was going to cost a fortune. Griffin used his OWN vehicle to drive 3 exits up to assist us. He was able to get the undamaged spark plug back in and also brought us a brand new coil pack and put it in. He did this repair out of the kindness of his heart and we cannot thank him enough! He was honest from the get go. He could have told us the truck needed a new head or worse and made a ton of money, but he fixed the problem quickly and didn't charge us a fractuon of what he could have! Thank you Griffin, you were our Angel! His shop may be behind sometimes, but he is worth the wait if you want an honest mechanic!

I gave one star because the girl at front is very sweet and there was a helpful guy, but we left car on a Wednesday at 10am. I explained we really needed the car asap because I have cancer and lupus etc and will be hard for me to give people rides to work etc at 5am! They explain there was cars in front of mine (6) Thursday it was to be done...nope! Friday the were sure by then...NO, the mechanic that looked at it had left for the day and weekend. The other mechanics had jobs and they couldn't get to mine...nothing! They need a mechanic for minor jobs like mine (bearings to be replaced) and other mechanics for the bigger jobs...if you got one car and need it done same or next day or actually in three ...don't go here! I feel the mechanic that looked at the car should have just fixed it. Oh they were supposed to have called as well..no such thing happened, the mechanic just didn't want to do the job! I have never taken a car somewhere where they did not have their stuff together like this place! Never even called for a status update or to tell us anything about the car! Taking car to another place who can have work done in one hour!!! The car set there for 3 days!!!!!

I am honestly disappointed, this shop has Amazing POTENTIAL. However, I don't feel it is being ran efficiently. I have called with no answer, mupltiple occasions. I also have the concern of the child/childern that are running through shop all day, most days. I have also had to keep from hitting many toys, many times. I believe the shop is in an amazing location, and again has all potential in the wprld. Unfourtnally, right now, I wouldn't recommend it.

They do good oil changes and put a muffler on another car we brought, but he also made me pay for the part up front which shows bad business to me as well.

paid griffin $1400 because the car ended up not working out. He said he made no money and it would have been $2000 if it had worked + whatever it would be to charge AC. When we walked in to pay he didn't even recognize us. My wife and I talked to this guy several times in person and on phone. The waiting area had mice running around too FYI if you are scared of them. After that we went to the dealer shop that had our car and basically gave it to the tech working on it. he paid for the dealer work and gave us a little cash. When we went to clean the car out I noticed that the driver seat leather looked very dirty and worn. Griffin said he was sorry.

We had to go ourselves to the dealership to confront them about not getting to our car. This should be Griffin's job. The dealership says that the part didn't fix the problem. Car still doesn't work. We decide to give up because the car needed another part for $2400 to "maybe" fix. We decide to just give up. Dealership is trying to get more money from us even though they didn't fix the problem. Griffin is trying to put that on us. We said we would pay for his time, but does this seem fair? Griffin himself might be a knowledgable mechanic, but he is a rookie business owner with no organization or management skills of his people. He wasted a huge amount of our time (3+months), money ($6000+) and stressed my wife and I to no end. We are going to have to scrap our car with a new engine that doesn't run.

I wouldn't do business with them now after my last experience.

* FINAL RESULT

Month 3

Our car needed a new engine. The shop owner wanted to get an engine from his supplying junkyard. He missed one that became available. This process took about 2 weeks before we decided to find an engine ourselves which he was not happy with but agreed to. He said they could have it put in within a 3 day period. The engine company we bought from needed it done in 10 days for warranty purposes. Griffith used all of the 10 days to because other cars came in front of me while we had to wait on engine. They finally got it in and started but had to send to dealership because the car went into anti-theft mode and wouldn't start. We had to actually arrange the drop off to the dealership ourselves. I feel like we were running his business for him because he was almost never there. The employees even mentioned that problem in passing.

Is it Month 4? Getting close anyway.
